For Freak City from Bordeaux, the 80s are not only the decade of his birth, they are also the decade that shaped his outlook, his drawing and his philosophy of life. 

The co-founder of the Mondo Zero collective draws on the margins of this era which saw skateboarding, punk and underground comics flourish, enough to nourish an art where monsters and mutants take possession of the city. 

With thick black lines and dazzling colors, he traces this next world, the one that gives birth to the bizarre and the beautiful with the same saving stroke of the axe. 

His images, which we find as if by chance on record covers, on the
