We’re Marco & Richard—two creative Dutch souls who swapped the fast pace of Amsterdam for the sun-drenched charm of Valencia.
In 2024, we followed our hearts, our dog Max, and a wild dream: to create a place full of colour, story, and joy. That dream became Musgo Bazar—a vibrant gift shop where design meets nature, and every item has a soul.
Marco, with his background in floral design, is the styling wizard behind our magical store corners. Richard brings his love for graphic design into our own product creations and makes sure our webshop runs like a charm. We take turns running the shop—so chances are, you’ll bump into one of us.
Our shop is nestled in Russafa, the heart of creativity in Valencia. It’s where we welcome curious wanderers, friendly locals, and yes—even the occasional golden retriever who insists on dropping by (he drags his human in every time he passes!).
Musgo Bazar isn’t just a shop—it’s a little movement. We believe the world becomes a better place when we support designers and makers who pour their hearts into what they create.
That’s why our shelves are filled with sustainable, thoughtful goods from small brands, local artists, and independent dreamers.
Some pieces you’ll find only in our physical shop—like our plants or dried flower bouquets and special finds from regional creators. Others, like durable notebooks, unique vases, retro tableware, trendy jewelery or clever watering tools live happily online too.
'Musgo' means moss, a nod to the green world we love. Moss has always felt to us like a soft blanket from the earth, a place to land gently. It inspires how we curate our shop: warm, welcoming, and rooted in care.
We love blending the tactile charm of our physical store with the reach of our webshop. Whether you’re strolling past in Russafa or browsing in your pyjamas—we’re always here with delightful gifts that brighten your day.
We’re always creating, always dreaming. Our future? More in-house designs, more local collabs, maybe even more shops. But always with the same mission: to bring beauty, joy, and purpose into the everyday.
